Adding QR Marker extension in Trimble Connect

This guide is for adding the QR marker tool to your Trimble Connect projects.

Note that QR markers can currently be placed in the web version of Trimble Connect only, not the desktop application. 
You can access the web version of Trimble Connect at Trimble Connect Web

1. Open a model from your project in the 3D Viewer and then click on the settings button as shown below:

2. Expand the extensions button 


3. Scroll to the bottom of the list, and under Custom Extension click Add 

4. When this expands, next click Advanced


5. We will next fill out the top three fields as seen below, feel free to copy and paste the URLs as shown

Title: QR Markers

Plugin/Application URL: //trimble-connect-marker-authoring.trimble.com/

Icon URL: //trimble-connect-marker-authoring.trimble.com/markerextension.png


Once you have filled these out, click Add

You should now see the QR Marker tool icon in your toolbar. Once you see this, you are ready to start placing markers !
