Registering a Sending Service Provider (SSID Setup)

← Back to Payday Super Guide Hub

Step 1 β€” Critical

Register your SSID with the ATO

You must complete this step before lodging STP or processing Payday Super.

This must be completed first

Without SSID registration, STP submissions will fail and Payday Super cannot proceed.

Deadline: 30 June 2026

What is SSID registration?

You must notify the ATO that you are using a Sending Service Provider (SSP) to submit your payroll data.

This is done by registering a Software ID (SSID) against your ABN in Access Manager.

Where to get your SSID

Option 1 β€” If using Ozedi (example)

If you are using Ozedi as your Sending Service Provider, log in to the Ozedi STP Dashboard and locate your SSID:

Reports β†’ Client List Report
Manage Service β†’ Manage Clients β†’ Edit Client

Option 2 β€” Other providers

If you are using a different provider, contact them or your payroll software provider to obtain your SSID.

Register your SSID β€” step by step

1 Log in to Access Manager using myGovID
2 Go to My Business β†’ My Hosted Software Services
3 Search for your provider (for example, OZEDI HOLDINGS PTY LTD)
4 Enter your SSID and save

You're done when:

βœ“ Your SSID is saved in Access Manager
βœ“ Your provider appears as a registered service
βœ“ STP submissions no longer return SSID errors
