What Happens If Your Setup or Data Is Incorrect

Payday Super changes when and how issues are identified.

Under the previous quarterly process, errors such as incorrect employee details or configuration gaps were often picked up at the end of the quarter, leaving time to review and correct them before submission.

With Payday Super, super is processed as part of each pay run. This means there is far less time to identify and fix issues before they impact payroll or STP submission.

As a result, problems such as incorrect setup, missing configuration, or invalid employee details are now typically identified immediately during payroll processing or STP lodgement.

What this means in practice

  • Errors are identified earlier, often during payroll or STP submission
  • There is less flexibility to leave corrections until later
  • Issues may prevent payroll or STP submission if not resolved
  • Setup and data must be accurate before running payroll

In short, issues that were once identified at quarter end are now identified in real time.
