Why super payments fail
Under Payday Super, payments are validated much earlier than before. If something is incorrect, your payment may fail immediately.
Common causes
Employee details are incorrect or incomplete |
Super fund details are invalid or missing information |
Member verification (MVR) has not been completed where required |
Submission data fails validation checks |
Duplicate or conflicting submissions |
What this means
Payments can be rejected before reaching the fund |
Errors must be resolved immediately — not at quarter end |
Delays may impact your ability to meet the 7-day deadline |
What to do
1Review any validation errors or messages
|
2Correct employee or fund details
|
3Re-submit the payment as soon as possible
|
4Confirm the payment is completed within required timeframes
|
Most failures are caused by data or validation issues — not payroll processing errors.
